Tribute to Robert Yetman, MD

I'm not sure if this is meant for patients' stories, but I just learned about Dr. Yetman's passing and two things happened  at the same time. I cried and I laughed out loud. I interviewed him when I was 8 months along to be my son's pediatrician (Andrew will be 36 in just a few weeks). I mentioned that at the last ultrasound I was told the baby's head was on the large size and his reply was 'AREN'T YOU LUCKY, IT'S FULL OF BRAINS!!!'.  I can remember every piece of advice from him that got me through a lot of sleepless nights.  To his family, friends and the countless people he inspired, remember it's OK to laugh and cry at the same time.
